Tridel Alexandra Park Community Revitalization

The Alexandra Park project is a masterplan to reinvent a neighborhood core to Toronto’s identity. While Alexandra Park many not be a household name to many, its neighboring Chinatown and Kensington Market put this city on the map.

Two buildings have already been completed on this multi decade long development. The unique SQ and SQ 2 condos have a distinctive visual punch that has modernized the look and feel of the area.

The third project, AP2A , is a joint effort between Tridel and TCHC (Toronto Community Housing Corporation). Not only will the Atkinson building (TCHC’s portion of AP2A) provide affordable and extremely livable spaces, it will also be one of the few buildings that complies with the new Toronto Green Standards. By using VRF (Variable Refrigerant Flow) systems for heating and cooling. TCHC is looking far into the future by making a building that has a significant reduction on carbon emissions compared to a traditional building.
